Sun Life Cycle PH formally opens a non-competitive fun ride designed for family bonding and wellness activity today (Saturday) at the Seda Hotel, Bonifacio Global City, in Taguig.
The fun ride offers three categories, namely Long Ride (40K), Short Ride (20K), and Kid’s Ride, which traverses four cities, namely Taguig, Makati, Manila, and Pasay.
The fun ride’s aim is to enjoy cycling, promote health, and road safety awareness.

“The vision for this event is to get out, and enjoy riding a bicycle. We want to promote health, we want to promote the awareness to road safety,” Founder Sunrise Events, Wilfred Uytengsu said.
Participants will have a unique opportunity to cycle with three-time Tour De France green jersey winner Robbie McEwen.
Celebrities will also participate in the fun ride, such as Piolo Pascual, Matteo Guidicelli, Jake Cuenca, Enchong Dee, Inigo Pascual, Yong Muhajil, Janus del Prado, Sarah Carlos, Tommy Esguerra and Kisses Devalin.
The race will start with the three-lap Long Ride starting at the BGC Kalayaan Flyover to Gil Puyat Ave. all the way to the turn around point before Taft Ave. then back again in BGC.
The Short Ride will be two laps, making a turnaround on Ayala Ave. and back to BGC.
The Kids’ ride will be a 30-minute solo ride available for 6 to 15 years old.
The event will be attended by a total of 1,100 participants--700 participants in the Long Ride and 400 in the Short.
“Go out and be in the moment. Just go out there and have fun,” Uytengsu said.
Gun start for the Long Ride is scheduled at 6 a.m., followed by the Short Ride at 6:20 a.m. and Kid’s Ride at 8:30 a.m.
