LAPU-LAPU City, Cebu - A star-studded Sun Life Tri-Team will take part in the 2017 Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3.
Brand ambassador Piolo Pascual, along with Sun Life Financial Philippines own executives and advisors, will be leading the brand's tri-team in the grueling triathlon.
Joining Pascual's team is actor Enchong Dee and Toniel Ty.
Dee will start off with the swim, passing it on to Pascual for the bike ride and finally to Toniel for the run.
"We hope that the Sun Life Tri-team will inspire Filipinos who are looking to lead healthier lives. We encourage them to join the GoWell community so that we can help them reach their fitness goals," said Sun Life CEO and Country Head Riza Mantaring.
Also racing are Sun Life Board Director Paco Sandejas and Sun Life advisors Eboy de Leon and Mike Miras.
Former national team member Jan Michael Chiu will also be joining, with Sun Life's Karl Villalonga and Alfred Diacosa.
The all-female team is composed of former Olympian Christine Jacob Sandejas, Laarni de Guzman and Sun Life Health and Wellness Marketing Manager Jaymie Pizzaro.
To complete Sun Life's representatives are their advisors KB Espinosa and Rocio Pantaleon with Toots Malapad from Sun Life's Agency Business Development Group.
The brand also has a participant in the individual category with Hazel Ferrer-Misa of Sun Life's Strategy and Financial Management Group.
Sun Life has a total of five relay teams, with Ferrer-Misa as the only individual racer.
