Ayon kay Sir Chot, “I would like to announce very briefly that TV5 is bringing ESPN back to the Philippines.
“There’s a collaboration called ESPN5. So sa mga nagtatanong, no, TV5 is not dead.
Dagdag pa ni Sir Chot, “Now under TV5, is ESPN5, News5, Digital5. So, ESPN has taken over what used to be Sports5.
“ESPN5 is the brand that we are going to use. We are very, very excited.
"We are making big stories to show that we are the authority in sports in the Philippines, in the country.
“We wanted to cement that dominance being the top sports brand in the country.”
ESPN5 ON TV5. Kabilang sa mga content na mapapanood sa TV5 via ESPN5 ay ang mga sumusunod: ESPN Studio programs na Around the Horn at Pardon the Interruption, U.S. College Basketball, X Games, ESPN’s Big Fights Library, at ESPN Films.
